Cookie Notice
What cookies and similar technologies the CubVest website uses today — and our promise to update this before anything changes.
Pre-launch draft. CubVest is in final development and not yet publicly available. This cookie notice will be finalised after legal review before public launch.
01What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a similar way. They can keep you signed in, remember preferences or measure how a site is used.
02What the CubVest website uses today
Right now
The CubVest website does not set analytics, advertising or marketing cookies, and it does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics tool.
We will update this notice before we introduce any new category of cookie.
03Essential cookies
Essential cookies are needed for a website or app to work securely — for example, to keep you signed in. The website does not currently set its own essential cookies. When the CubVest app and account area launch, they will use essential cookies or similar technologies to keep your session secure, and this notice will list them.
04Preference cookies
Preference cookies remember choices such as display settings. The website does not currently use them.
05Analytics cookies
The website does not currently use analytics cookies or analytics tools. If we add analytics, we will name the provider here before it is switched on and, where required, ask for your consent.
06Marketing cookies
The website does not use marketing or advertising cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this notice first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
07Third-party services
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces on our website. Your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive technical information such as your IP address.
- FormSubmit — during the pre-launch and beta period, when you join the waiting list your browser sends the form to FormSubmit, which delivers it to hello@cubvest.co.za. FormSubmit’s own practices apply to that submission.
- Paystack and iKhokha — when payment features launch, their payment pages or components may use their own cookies, covered by their own notices.
08How to manage cookies
You can view, block and delete cookies in your browser’s settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the CubVest app from working once it launches.
09Updates to this notice
We will update this notice whenever the cookies or similar technologies we use change, with a new “last updated” date.
