Building CubVest

    CUBVEST

Building a product for families means balancing ambition with responsibility. A useful idea is only the beginning. The experience also needs to be understandable, dependable and honest about what is available. CubVest is being developed around a simple principle: financial learning should fit into family life without making money feel intimidating.

    Start with the family problem

Parents want children to learn good money habits, but daily life is busy and children’s needs change with age. A product should help families create repeatable learning moments rather than add another complicated task to the day.

    Design for different ages

A five-year-old and a seventeen-year-old should not receive the same explanation or level of responsibility. Younger children benefit from concrete examples and visual cues. Older teens need more practical discussion about budgeting, online payments, credit, contracts and risk.

Treat trust as a product feature

Family products should make boundaries and permissions clear. Children’s actions, parental oversight, privacy and payment-related features need careful design and testing. A reassuring interface is not enough; the underlying behaviour must be reliable too.

    Build, test and improve

A polished launch takes more than a working screen. Links, accessibility, responsive layouts, error states, recovery flows and the wording of important decisions all matter. Testing should include what happens when a user makes a mistake or a service is unavailable.

We prefer to make clear what is ready and what is still being developed. That keeps expectations honest and gives the product room to mature responsibly.

Growing money confidence, one step at a time

Children build financial understanding through repeated, age-appropriate practice. Keep the conversation calm, adapt examples to your family and treat mistakes as opportunities to learn.

At CubVest, we connect five money skills: Earn, Save, Spend, Give and Invest. You do not need to teach them all at once. Begin with one useful decision and build from there.
